Trees wrapped in lights
Type your address and you see your own house from the air, with every edge of the roof already measured. Choose what to light and the price is on the screen. We confirm the footage before we send the quote, and print it on the quote so you can check it.
What it costs
Eaves and gutters are one rate a foot. A gable edge climbing to a peak costs more the steeper it is, because a steep roof is a harness job.
- 150 feet of eaves and gutters
- The minimum install, whatever the footage
- A tree wrapped, trunk and main limbs, from
| Where the lights go | Per foot |
|---|---|
| Eaves and gutters | |
| Gable edges, up to a 6/12 pitch | |
| Gable edges, 6/12 to 8/12 | |
| Gable edges, steeper than 8/12 |
The figures are arithmetic on today's published rates, not a quote. Yours is priced on your own roofline.

- Takedown in the first half of January, and storage until next season
Not included

- Gutter or fascia repair
- Homes over three storeys
- Inflatables and indoor decorating
When to book
Installs run from the start of November into early December, and the lights stay dark on the timer until the night you want them on. Booking opens on October 1, and the weeks before Thanksgiving fill first. A dry November afternoon is a far better day on a roof than the morning after a storm, so an early install is the safer one.
Questions
How much does Christmas light installation cost in Fort Collins?
Gable edges cost more per foot as the roof gets steeper; the table above has each rate. Type your address to see your roof measured and choose what to light.
Is there a deposit?
No. You pay once the lights are up and on.
Do I own the lights?
No, we do. They are leased to you for the season: we hang them, fix them, take them down and store them, and there is nothing to buy or hand back.
Can you hang lights I already have?
No. We hang only our own, cut to your roofline, so we can stand behind every run until it comes down.
Do members pay less?
Yes. A Lawn Season Plan member takes 10% off holiday lighting.
