Lawn mowing in Fort Collins
Every week or every other, with the trimming, edging and blowing-off done on every visit.
Mowing in late light
Mowing is priced on the square feet of grass we measure at your address, not on the size of the lot. Type the address and the price is on the screen before we ask for your name.
What every visit includes
Every visit
- Mow at a height that suits bluegrass in a dry summer, changing direction between visits
- Trim every edge a mower cannot reach: fences, trees, the mailbox, the window wells
- Edge the sidewalk and the driveway with a hard edge
- Blow off the drive, the walks and the porch
Not included
- Bagging. We mulch the clippings back into the lawn
- Sprinkler repairs and settings. We tell you when a head is broken or a zone is dry
- Weeding rock and mulch beds
- Storm debris and fallen limbs
What mowing costs
The minimum covers up to 5,000 square feet of grass, and each 2,500 square feet past it adds a little. Every other week is 25% more a visit, and a single cut 50% more. A big lot with a wide drive, a patio and rock beds can hold less grass than a smaller one with lawn to the fence, which is why we never price the lot.
When we mow
From mid-April, when the lawn wakes up, through the end of October. You have one day of the week for the season, and the crew on your street is the same crew each time.
Questions
How much does lawn mowing cost in Fort Collins?
A typical lot is a visit, mowed weekly. Yours is worked out from the grass on it, so the address gives you the exact figure.
Do I have to sign up for the whole season?
No. One day's notice stops the visits, or skips a week. If you would rather pay for the season monthly, the Lawn Season Plan does that.
Do you water the lawn?
No, but we tell you when we see a dry zone or a broken sprinkler head, so it can be fixed before the lawn browns.
What happens when it rains?
The visit moves to the next dry day, and you get a text with the new day. A wet lawn cut short tears and ruts.
